Low Level Laser Therapy and Ulcers
Mouth ulcers are a break in the mucous membrane lining the mouth, characterised by tenderness, irritation and swollen skin. Typically white to light pink or grey in appearance, ulcers tend to cause moderate pain, potentially affecting the ability to eat and carry out normal dental hygiene. Ulcers can take approximately 10-14 days to heal. Treatment is focused on minimising the painful symptoms.
