Our nurses work closely with doctors, carrying out many different patient services and supporting patients through procedures, assessments and administration of vaccinations and other medications.
Allergy and Chronic Disease Management Nurse
Martine Willcox conducts testing and assessments for allergies and assists GP’s and patients prepare complex care plans, assessments, reviews and team care arrangements for the management and prevention of chronic disease. Martine is a Registered Nurse and was one of the earliest members of our team, having been with the practice since 1998.
Ros joined us in 2014 and has been nursing for 40 years. She initially trained as an emergency department nurse and has been working with GP’s for the last 17 years. Ros has 4 children and enjoys the outdoors and reading.
Emily began with us in 2014 and prior to that she did nursing in aged care. Originally from Brisbane, Emily studied at QUT and enjoys camping and surfing.
Heidi graduated from nursing training in 1980 and gained most of her experience in emergency nursing, prior to moving to the Gold Coast 3 years ago. She thoroughly enjoys OH&S and wound management. Heidi is a mother of 3 and grandmother of 1, a Collingwood supporter and loves cats.
Helen moved from the UK to the Gold Coast in 2006. She trained at Brighton University and has been nursing for 16 years. She has a cute dog called Marley and a snobby cat called Bob. Helen loves to spend time at the beach and movies. She’s also a keen traveller, both overseas and within beautiful Australia.
Jenny qualified as a registered nurse in 1993 in Salford, U.K. First completing a Bachelor of Arts in health studies, she then specialised in district nursing, gaining a post graduate diploma in 2002. Jenny emigrated to Australia in 2004 and has worked in various nursing roles including hospital, prison and remote areas. She is a self-confessed Yoga addict and qualified as a Yoga teacher in 2014.
