GP Appointments

Consultation with one of our GP’s is by appointment. At the time of making your appointment, please advise the type of appointment that your doctor has advised you about getting done at your next appointment. Patients that arrive without an appointment will be fitted in at the earliest available time. We ask that all our patients “check in” with one of our friendly medical receptionists on arrival to avoid unnecessary delay in the waiting room.


The doctors can perform many minor surgical procedures if required such as removal of moles or skin lesions and treatment of simple fractures. Cryotherapy (for cancers and warts), nebuliser, pap smears and resuscitation equipment are available. Antenatal Visit, Vaccinations, Insurance Medical, Pre Employment Assessments and Commercial Drivers licence medicals can be completed by one of our GP’s. A longer appointment may be required for some procedures so please inform the medical receptionist what you require when you make your appointment.


Our GP’s can perform Electrocardiograms (ECG), Lung Function tests, Hearing tests, Blood sugar testing and Pregnancy testing.  Blood collection for pathology, X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound, mammograms and endoscopy tests can all be arranged elsewhere if needed.

Patient Test Results

Patients are required to return for consultation with the GP who ordered their testing to obtain the test results. If any results are abnormal or require urgent attention, one of our staff members will contact you.


Please pay at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, Amex or EFTPOS. A full list of fees is on display at reception. Pensioners, Veterans Affairs cardholders and Health Care cardholders are bulk-billed. Please note, if your usual doctor has decided to bulk bill you or write a script for you without an appointment, there is no guarantee another doctor in the practice will do the same.

Repeat Prescriptions

Scripts are sometimes written for a regular patient without an appointment but will incur a charge of $6. Patients are advised that their regular treating doctor must give consent first prior to any scripts being issued under this arrangement.

Referral to Specialists

To ensure the best management of your care, we like to discuss your condition before referring you to a specialist. You may request a particular specialist of your choice. Please note that we are not permitted by law to back-date specialist referrals, so please ensure that you have a current referral before you see the specialist.

Medical Certificates

Medical certificates are legal documents and are only issued if you present for consultation with one of our doctors. Medical Certificates cannot be issued without you making an appointment with your doctor.


Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Recall and Reminder System

Our practice is committed to preventive care. Your doctor will seek your permission to be included on our reminder system. We may issue with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system, please let your doctor or reception know.
