Background and interests
Dr Andrew Kreis hails from Central Queensland, and spent his younger years in the coal mining town of Dysart and the coastal community of Yeppoon. Before pursuing a career as a GP, Dr Andrew served as a Paramedic with the Queensland Ambulance Service in Rockhampton.
He completed his medical degree at Deakin University in Geelong, Victoria, before returning to Queensland to undertake his Internship and Residency. Dr Andrew's clinical training included diverse experiences at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Outside of his professional life, Dr Andrew has a wide range of interests including gaming, learning to play acoustic guitar and painting miniatures. He enjoys exploring the outdoors hiking and capturing the beauty of nature through landscape photography. He is also passionate about cooking, aquascaping, and staying fit at the gym.
Dr Andrew ensures patients receive personalised and comprehensive care, and welcomes new patients of all ages.
