Diagnosis and Treatment

Early diagnosis is beneficial and many musculoskeletal conditions improve with ice, rest and elevation. Other treatments include anti-inflammatory medication – applied topically or taken orally, early mobilisation, physical therapy and occupational therapy. The aim of medications and therapies is to help manage pain during every day activities.

Help prevent musculoskeletal conditions by keeping fit, walking regularly, wearing well-fitting footwear, and regular stretching.
