She studied at the Bristol University Medical School in the United Kingdom and has practiced medicine since 1996. She has lived between the Gold Coast and the UK for 7 years and has been a member of Gold Coast General Practice. Dr Colinette has also worked for Marie Stopes and true.org.au providing professional reproductive health services.
