Dr Gerard’s educational journey includes studying at esteemed institutions such as the University of Queensland (UQ), Australian National University in Canberra for his undergraduate degree, and the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) in Clinical Immunology graduating with first-class honours. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine at Griffith Uni, Gold Coast.
Originally from Redcliffe, Dr Gerard gained valuable experience through diverse training opportunities. He completed his internship in Townsville, followed by his second year at Logan Hospital. His third year was spent at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH), and last year, he successfully completed GP training. He made the Gold Coast his home in 2016, and is passionate about serving the local community.
