Background and interests
Dr Taylor Royan obtained her medical degree at James Cook University in 2021 and completed her residency years at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where she gained experience in emergency medicine and a variety of medical and surgical specialties including paediatrics.
Dr Taylor enjoys all aspects of general practice with a keen interest in women’s health including family planning such as MS 2 Step certification, contraception and antenatal care. She also enjoys paediatrics, chronic disease management and spending time getting to know her patients in order to work together to achieve their health and life goals.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys pilates and sweet treats, going to the beach and spending time with her friends and family.
