Fertility Checks and Pre-conception Health
Your pre-conception health can have a significant effect on both your ability to conceive and the health of your baby.
If you’re considering starting a family, it’s advisable to book an appointment with your GP to assist with your fertility by helping you and your partner achieve optimal health prior to conception and during the pregnancy.
Your GP can detect relevant health problems, offer advice about improving health and lifestyle, and determine if any medication changes are needed.
If you’ve been trying to conceive without success, your GP can also offer fertility advice and testing.
