Procedures and Minor Surgery
Many of the providers in our rooms perform minor surgical procedures
These are carried out under local anaesthetic for your convenience and comfort.
Some of the procedures available:
- Biopsies
- Removal of moles and skin lesions
- Removal of cysts and tumours
- Wound suturing / laceration repairs
- Treatment of simple fractures
- Cortisone injections
- Cryotherapy of skin cancers and warts
- Removal of body piercings
- Ganglion Removals
- Cortisone Injections

A number of our GP’s perform womens health procedures.
Many of the GP’s at our practices carry out the following:
- Contraceptive Rod Insertion and Removal
- Intrauterine Device Insertion and Removal
Other procedures:
- Microsuction Ear Wax Removal
- Nebuliser

Appointments for minor surgery cannot be made online. Please contact Reception in the first instance. Some procedures may require an initial appointment with a GP before the procedure can be booked.
