Background and interests
Stephanie Blackwell is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and is passionate about educating patients about the importance and value of nutrition in food. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Believing in a patient centred approach to nutrition, Stephanie provides individualised advice, clear direction and support to individuals on their journey to achieving their personal goals. Stephanie believes that equipping patients with the right nutrition knowledge can significantly improve their health and well being.
Passionate about providing sustainable lifestyle interventions, and educating people to make better nutritional choices on a day to day basis, Stephanie is committed to providing excellent and clear education and counselling to motivate and support patients as they work towards their health and nutrition goals.
Stephanie is experienced in chronic disease management, including weight management and diabetes mellitus, diverticular disease, cardiovascular disease, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, mental health, osteoporosis, arthritis, nutrition support for the underweight/malnourished, renal disease, coeliac disease, nutrition support for the elderly, liver disease and nutrition during oncology.
Stephanie’s Days are Thursday and Friday – on Maternity leave from July until February 2025
