Dr Penny Byford

Dr. Penny enjoys delivering holistic care across all areas of family medicine, appreciating the unique opportunity that GPs have to provide continuity of care to patients and their families throughout their lives.

She is particularly passionate about women and children's health, having undergone focused training in Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Through practical experience and post-graduate qualifications in these specialties, she has developed expertise in areas such as pre-conception planning, fertility, pregnancy, and postnatal care and Dr. Penny feels privileged to support patients through these important stages of their lives.

In addition to her interest areas of women and children's health, Dr. Penny also enjoys preventive health, chronic disease management, and coordinating complex care needs for patients of all ages. Currently, she balances her part-time clinical work with training GP registrars and spending quality time with her own young family.

Dr Penny performs insertion & removal of implanons and removal of Mirena IUD's, however does not perform skin checks or skin procedures.
