Dr Alexander Beresford

Dr Alex Beresford is a GP Registrar with a diverse and experienced background with much time spent in emergency medicine and paediatrics. Growing up and studying on the Gold Coast, Dr Alex completed his medical training at Bond University in 2016. He has worked in small rural remote hospitals to large referral facilities throughout Australia including Western Australia, NSW, ACT and Queensland. He has spent many years working in Emergency departments, ICU, paediatrics wards, medical/surgical wards, and in mental health units.

Dr Alex has recently been working in Brisbane but has relocated to the Gold Coast with his newly fellowed geriatrician wife and new baby daughter. They love spending time travelling and enjoying life on the coast with their two rescue dogs.
