About Dr Aruni
Dr Aruni has been a GP for over 26 years. A supervisor for our Registrar GP’s, Dr Aruni teaches medical students who come to our practice from Bond University and Griffith University. She has been at RTMC since 2000. Dr Aruni’s husband is a pianist and together they plan charity functions in Brisbane to raise money for deaf children and breast cancer research. They also sponsor medical students from overseas.
Dr Aruni has built a good network within the public and private hospital systems over her many years of experience, providing invaluable assistance to patients requiring surgery.

Special Interests and Expertise
Dr Aruni commonly deals with back and musculoskeletal problems and promotes the use of exercise and assessment of movement to help deal with the pain involved. Dr Aruni’s years of experience mean she has a good network within the public and private hospital system assisting patients requiring surgery. She has provided pap smears for over 25 years and also regularly conducts breast checks.
Dr Aruni’s expertise spans the range of general practice with a strong focus on chronic health conditions and she encourages lifestyle modification where possible to achieve better health.
