ABOUT DR LUKE

Originally from Hawaii, Dr Luke moved to New Zealand to complete his schooling, finishing his medical degree at the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2010.  Dr Luke has lived on the Gold Coast for four years and completed his residency at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital, including 9 months working in general paediatrics and neonatal intensive care. He enjoys indoor soccer, volleyball and walking his puppy.

Dr Luke welcomes all new patients, offering a friendly relaxed approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
Emergency Medicine Certificate (EM Cert) – Australasian College Emergency Medicine

SPECIAL INTERESTS AND EXPERTISE

Dr Luke is an advanced trainee in Emergency Medicine at Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals. He has completed an Emergency Medicine Certificate, Emergency Trauma Medicine course and Point of Care Ultrasound through the Australian Institute of Ultrasound. As a result he has expertise assisting patients with urgent care, musculoskeletal injuries and fractures. Dr Luke’s special interests include minor procedures, chronic disease and skin conditions. He welcomes all new patients and offers a friendly, relaxed approach.
