Dr Alice Hawes

Introducing Dr. Alice, a compassionate healthcare provider who warmly welcomes patients of all ages to our practice. As a born-and-bred Gold Coaster, Dr. Alice studied medicine at Griffith University Gold Coast and pharmacy at UQ in Brisbane. She completed her residency at Gold Coast Health Services, which gave her invaluable experience in the field of surgery.

Dr. Alice finds great joy in treating patients of all ages in all areas of general medicine. Her approach can be best described as friendly, caring, and empathetic, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and compassionate care. She believes in building strong doctor-patient relationships based on trust and open communication.

When not at work, you will often find Dr. Alice dedicating time to her fitness journey, working out at the gym or enjoying bike ride (road and gravel). Her commitment to her physical well-being recently earned her recognition, as she won a competition celebrating her dedication to health and fitness. Dr. Alice believes in a combination of sustainable lifestyle changes and scientific principles in achieving weight loss and wellness.

Outside of medicine Dr. Alice is a talented musician, playing the cello, harp, and flute. She also enjoys singing and cherishes her role as being the loving mother to her children.

Dr. Alice's special interests span various areas of medicine, including general medicine, antenatal shared care, contraceptive advice, women's health, child health, sexual health, and micro suction ear wax removal. This broad range of expertise allows her to provide comprehensive care to her patients, ensuring their well-being in all aspects of their health journey.
