Dr Lisa Beecham

Dr. Lisa, a highly respected member of our practice since 1997, brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to healthcare. She completed her studies at the University of QLD and underwent extensive training in Paediatrics at the Royal Children's Hospital. Dr. Lisa is not only dedicated to her patients but also an accredited trainer in the Triple-P Parenting Program.

With her deep understanding of the various health services available for children on the Gold Coast, Dr. Lisa can guide and facilitate referrals if necessary. Her professional interests are diverse, ranging from developmental and behavioral concerns to acute illnesses, rashes, immunisations, asthma, allergies, and eczema. Dr. Lisa's commitment to comprehensive care extends to diabetes management, conducting routine skin checks with dermatoscopes for early cancer detection, as well as advocating for regular cervical screenings and mammograms.

In addition to her pediatric expertise, Dr. Lisa offers guidance on contraception, menopause, and discussions on STD prevention. For those planning overseas travel, she can provide the latest evidence-based advice and recommends booking at least one month before departure.

Beyond her role within our practice, Dr. Lisa actively participates in partnerships that aim to improve the health outcomes of the Gold Coast population. She is a valued member of General Practice Gold Coast (GPGC) and the Immunisation Committee for Gold Coast Primary Health Network.
