Dr Vanessa Malouf

Dr Vanessa completed a Postgraduate Doctor of Medicine through Griffith University in 2015. She has varied experience across a multitude of hospital disciplines working at a Registrar level in both Adult and Paediatric Medicine at Gold Coast University Hospital, The Tweed Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital & Hervey Bay Hospital. She found her passion for General Practice and joined the college in 2020, completing her Fellowship in 2024.

Dr Vanessa obtained a wealth of foundational knowledge through her hospital Adult Medicine rotations to confidently support people of all ages with Chronic Conditions. She is dedicated to providing thorough, evidence-based and personalised care to her patients. She believes that communication is the true key to supporting patients and as such prides herself on her connection with patients. She finds particular joy in the continuity of care General Practice affords, being honoured over her years of training to give multi-generational care to families across the Gold Coast.

A proud mother of two gorgeous little boys, Dr Vanessa believes her experience in Motherhood provides her with a greater ability to support and nurture women, partners and their children throughout the early years and beyond. She has furthered her studies in Paediatric & Adolescent medicine by completing the Graduate Diploma in Child Health (GDCH). Additionally, she has completed the Gold Coast GP Maternity Shared Care Alignment Program to support her passion in Antenatal Care.
